CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – The Cross River State Police Command has declared Mr Benjamin Hilda, a male student of the Department of Theatre Arts, University of Calabar (UNICAL), missing.
According to a statement issued on Friday by ASP Sunday Eitokpah, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Hilda, 30, went missing in 2025 and has not been found.
According to the statement, Hilda reportedly left his residence in early 2025 for an unknown destination and has not returned home nor been seen since then. He was last contacted by his family in March 2025.
“He hails from Kwande Local Government Area of Benue State. He is fair in complexion, tall, and speaks Tiv and English fluently.
“All efforts made by his guardians, friends, and colleagues to ascertain his whereabouts have so far proved unsuccessful,” it added.
The Command, therefore, appealed to members of the public with any useful information regarding his whereabouts to report to the nearest Police Station or contact the following numbers:
