LAGOS (CONVERSEER) – Leading Nigeria’s brand influencer, Anderson Damisa Paul, popularly known as Lazywrita, has taken his own life.
According to reports, Lazywrita committed suicide days ago, but scheduled an Instagram post to announce his passing.
The post went live some hours ago. He wrote ahead of his death:
“Don’t cry for me. I lived life. I just don’t have the energy to continue anymore. I’m good, and in a better place. I am free now.” — Anderson Paul.
Dubbed the OG of brand influencing in Nigeria, Lazywrita has been seen by many as a legendary writer.

“He is one of my favourite writers, and sometimes I do wonder about his dexterity with a pen.
“His demise taught me something, ‘You can be loud online, loved by many, and still be fighting mental battles nobody knows about,'” Mayowa Michael, popular LinkedIn influencer, said.
