Mamelodi East Double Murder Case
(MDN, CONVERSEER) – The man accused of killing 22-year-old Tshiamo Moramaga and her cousin Baleseng Mirandah Moramaga has abandoned his bail application in the Mamelodi Magistrate’s Court.
The 38-year-old accused, Tebogo Mnisi, faces two counts of premeditated murder, attempted murder, and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) confirmed that the victims were gunned down at Small Konka Tavern in Mamelodi East on 26 October 2025.

Police say a third victim survived and is recovering in the hospital. The NPA has condemned the killings and reiterated its stance against gender-based violence and femicide.
Families of the victims have called for justice as the case returns to court in January 2026.
