CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – Dr Eyo Essien has been appointed as the Director of the Centre for Information and Communication Technology (ICT), University of Calabar (UNICAL).
A letter signed by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Offiong Offiong, disclosed that the appointment is for a period of two (2) years with effect from January 1, 2026, till December 2027.
Dr Essien who is a key player in the ICT operations of the University is expected to bring in his wealth of experience to bear on the new assignment by effectively administering the Directorate for maximum results in terms of website viability, inter-connectivity and technological relativity.

He is expected, like all key appointed staff of administration, to key into the mission and vision and also ensure that the values and expectations of the institution are met.
