IBADAN (CONVERSEER) – A popular vendor in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, Adeshina Olayinka, has been found dead in a hotel.
The dead body of Olayinka, popularly known as Khadi, was discovered in Wetland Hotel in Akobo, Oyo State.
According to reports, Adeshina told a friend that she planned to meet someone at the hotel on Wednesday night.
On Thursday morning, when the man attempted to check out early, the receptionist called Adeshina to confirm her safety. She answered the call and assured them that she was just resting and that there was no cause for alarm, giving permission for the man to leave.

Later, a hotel receptionist who had borrowed Adeshina’s power bank went to return it and knocked on her door, but there was no response. The hotel manager then arrived with an extra key card to open the room and discovered her lifeless body.
Sources suggest that she may have been a victim of ritual practices.
