MANCHESTER (CONVERSEER)Manchester United have moved to the top four (temporary) following their 4-2 win over Brighton and Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Saturday.

United started the game knowing a three-game league win in a row would change the fortune of the club, and they started very well when top summer signing from Wolves, Matheus Cunha opened the scoring in the 24th minute, assisted by Casemiro. His first goal for his new club.

The Red Devils doubled their lead in the 34th minute when Casemiro converted from Luke Shaw’s assist to increase the atmosphere at Old Trafford.

Another summer signing from Brentford, Bryan Mbuemo, controversially added a third in the 61st minute to put the game beyond the Seagulls.

Brighton, however, tried to stage a comeback, when Danny Welbeck and Charalampos Kostoulas scored two goals in the 774thand 90+3 minutes.

Mbuemo said, “No not this time, Brighton,” as he rattled the back of the net in the 90+7th minute to clearly win it for Man United.

The win moves Manchester United from ninth to fourth on 16 points after playing a game more than the four teams below them.

United have now won three games in a row for the first time under Ruben Amorim -, against Sunderland, Liverpool and now Brighton.

Brighton, however, are now 12th on 12 points and can go down to 14th at the end of match day nine.
