ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – Activities at the Secretariats of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) have been grounded following the strike embarked upon by the Joint Union Action Committee over demands for improved working conditions.

As early as Monday morning, the main gates of the secretariats of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and the Federal Capital Development Authority were under lock, preventing staff and visitors from gaining access to the complex for their daily routines.

Many workers remained at home in strict compliance with the industrial action in order to press home their demands for better working conditions in the FCTA.
