Welcome to the LIVE coverage between Nigeria vs DR Congo, the final playoff match of the CAF FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The winner of the match will proceed to the intercontinental playoff, and then the finals in the Americas next summer – that is, if the team can keep a 100% record.
It is a do-or-die encounter as Nigeria are trying to avoid missing out on World Cup qualification for a second successive time. DR Congo will be seeking to return to the global football showpiece for the first time since 1974.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have played Les Léopards of the Democratic Republic of Congo on three occasions with both teams winning one each and drawing the other.
Both teams will be hoping for a win after a difficult qualifiers, if they want to play in the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.
