UGEP (CONVERSEER) – The Chairman of Yakurr Local Government Area, Hon. Yibala Igri Inyang, has called for peace, unity, and discipline as the local government prepares for its All Progressives Congress (APC) ward congress.
Speaking at a pre-ward congress meeting with stakeholders at the Council Hall, Inyang stressed that the congress is a constitutional party process meant to be conducted peacefully and transparently.
Inyang urged party faithful to prioritise the collective success of the party over personal interests, emphasising that peace, order, and mutual respect are key to sustainable political progress.
He called on stakeholders, leaders, youths, and supporters to conduct themselves responsibly and ensure the congress strengthens the party’s structure.
The chairman’s message comes as part of his efforts to promote unity and internal democracy within the party.
