UGEP (CONVERSEER) – Hon. Yibala Inyang, Chairman of Yakurr Local Government Council, has wrapped up his festive tour, spreading support to constituents across all 13 council wards. The tour saw the distribution of ₦10 million and bags of rice to families, alongside special Christmas gifts for Chiefs of Yakurr autonomous communities.
Visiting Assiga, Inyima, Nkpolo, Abanamkpai, Mkpani, Epenti, Ajere, Ntan, Idomi, Ijiman, Ijom, Ikpakapit, Biko-Biko, and Agoi, Hon. Inyang engaged directly with community members, gathering feedback on projects and needed interventions. “Strengthening grassroots governance through direct consultation was the goal,” he said.
He praised Governor Bassey Otu for driving people-focused innovations statewide, saying his leadership fuels local successes. “The people of Yakurr appreciate your efforts, Excellency,” he implied.

Inyang assured Mkpani/Agoi residents of inclusive development, documenting feedback for priority action. “We’ll continue delivering equitable governance within our means,” he pledged.
The tour showcased a people-centred approach, earning appreciation from constituents.
