LAGOS (CONVERSEER) – Some Nigerian women across the country have prayed for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu come 2027, after receiving food items from his son, Seyi Tinubu.
Converseer reports that Seyi, the founder of the Noella Foundation, organised relief efforts across Nigeria, handing out meals, prayer mats, and staples in places like Lagos, Abuja, Oyo, and Taraba to support those fasting during Ramadan and Lent.
Videos emerging from a market, one of the venues for the distribution, show women publicly praying for President Tinubu, right after receiving packages, sparking sharp online divides.
“We believe that by 2027, President Tinubu will be president again,” the women prayed in the video after receiving Seyi’s Ramadan/Lent outreach.

Critics have labelled it vote-buying amid high food prices and poverty affecting over 141 million Nigerians, while supporters see it as sincere thanks despite economic reforms like fuel subsidy removal that drove inflation.
“Any leader who can’t deliver in 4 years won’t deliver in 400 years. 99% of Nigerian politicians today have ZERO results to show. Vote the demons OUT in 2027!” Jesse Jagz Abaga, famous singer, songwriter and producer, stated.
According to Morris Monye, “For them (the women), that’s their national cake right there. That’s the lengths their mind can understand.”
It was also reported that in Imo State, the gesture was received with frustration as residents carted away the items before it could be shared.
Recently, Seyi told Nigerians to have faith in his father. According to him, “I’m asking you all to have faith in Tinubu. He is already driving this country in a direction this country has never ever seen.”
