ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) has stated that the U.S. forces have delivered critical military supplies to Nigeria in support of counter-terrorism operations in affected regions in the country.
In a tweet via its official X handle, @USAfricaCommand, the delivery took place on Tuesday, 13th January 2026 in Abuja.
Sharing a picture and tagging the US Embassy in Nigeria, the Command says the delivery emphasises the security partnership between both countries.

“U.S. forces delivered critical military supplies to our Nigerian partners in Abuja. This delivery supports Nigeria’s ongoing operations and emphasizes our shared security partnership. @USinNigeria,” the tweet read.

At the time of filing this report, the Federal Government has not yet issued a statement regarding the supply of military hardware and logistics.
