CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – The University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) has announced a change in the resumption date for the First Semester of the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to a statement signed by the Acting Registrar, Idim E. Ekanem, and dated 26th September, the resumption, initially slated for Sunday, 28th September, has been moved to Monday, 13th October.
The management of the university advised all staff and students to take note of the adjustment, adding that further details regarding resumption and academic activities would be communicated in due course.
The statement reads in part: “Management of the University of Cross River State (UNICROSS) informs all staff and students that the resumption of the First Semester for the 2025/2026 Academic Session, earlier scheduled for Sunday, September 28, has been rescheduled to Monday, October 13. Further communication on resumption and academic activities will be issued in due course.”
The development affects both academic and non-academic staff as well as the entire student body across the university’s campuses.
