MINA (CONVERSEER) – Troops of the Joint Task Force (JTF) Operation FANSAN YAMMAN have recovered 18 locally made guns from a suspected gunrruner in Kampany Mailafia, Niger State.

According to Zagazola, the suspect, Lawal Mohammed, 35, who hails from Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara, was arrested while waiting for transport the guns to Gusau in Zamfara state.

“Items recovered from him include 18 locally made guns, one torchlight, a travelling bag, a bottle of perfume, four pairs of clothes and ₦45,200,” the source said.

He added that the suspect is in custody for further investigation.
