Dutse (Converseer) – Reactions have trailed the 2026 budget presentation by the President of the Student Union Government (SUG) at the Federal University Dutse, Jigawa State.

Converseer reports that the President, Comrade Isah Ibrahim, presented the budget before the Students’ Representative Assembly (SRA) for deliberation and approval, very recently.

The presentation marks a key step in the union’s legislative process, as members review proposed allocations and plans for the academic session.

He was escorted by a heavy security team.

Reacting to the development, netizens question the influence of circular politics on the Nigerian educational system.

“Isn’t this gone too far?” questioned Mahmud Yusuf.

Mean, Ridwan Akinola, said, “You see why craving power is inevitable in Nigeria, just SUG presido with many escorts.”

“This is the beginning of corruption.” – MO Said, said.

“The kind of capacity this guy has is inevitable.” Muhammad Fahad

“Wow, it’s high time the youth take batons of leadership at all governmental levels.” – Zulqarmain Abdullahi

“Bro is not a government job, please.” – Abduluzairu Isyaku

Converseer further reports that Ibrahim has been in the spotlight recently, receiving backlash after a viral video showed the SUG President moving about with security and a convoy on campus.

Recall that in 2024, former SUG President of the University of Calabar (UNICAL), Comrade Blessing Alims, made 50 appointments, further raising questions on the educational system in the country.
