ANKARA (CONVERSEER) – Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu stumbled and fell in Turkey on Tuesday, 27 January 2026.
Converseer learned from a viral video shared by SaharaReporters on X that the incident occurred during a reception parade in Ankara, Turkey.
Recall that President Tinubu left Nigeria for Turkey on Monday, 26 January 2026.
The state’s visit was to Türkiye’s President Recep Erdoğan.
After the fall, Tinubu signed nine new agreements to strengthen Bilateral cooperation between Nigeria and Turkey.
Recall that this is the second time Tinubu has fallen in a major event. The first was during an Independence Day celebration in Nigeria.
