ABUOCHICHE (CONVERSEER) – Hon. Peter Akpanke, Member Representing Obudu/Bekwarra/Obanliku Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, has shown that politics in Nigeria is local.
The Lawmaker shocked the people when he stopped by the popular Abuochiche Junction, Headquarters of Bekwarra Local Government Area, to eat with the people.
The gesture occurred shortly after he commissioned a 3-classroom block at Community Primary School, Olokpa, Beten Ward, Bekwarra LGA.

The people, men and women, young and old, sang songs of victory, praising Akpanke for what he has done and still doing for them.
Like Christ, Peter also fed the people before proceeding to commission other projects in the Federal Constituency.
The people expressed their gratitude, saying no one has ever come down to celebrate with them. They even christened him, “Talk and do MP.”
