Otu appoints 5 into Senior Secondary School Education Board

CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – Governor Bassey Otu has approved the appointment of five individuals into the Cross River State Senior Secondary School Education Board.

This was disclosed by a statement signed by Linus Obogo, Chief Press Secretary and Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Governor, on Monday, 13th October 2025.

According to the release, Dr Tony Ngban was appointed as Chairman while Lawrence Oku was appointed Secretary of that board.

Patrick Uguge, Agube Ekwele Ignatius and Asari Eso Archibong were appointed as members.

“The appointments, which take immediate effect, underscore the Governor’s commitment to repositioning the education sector in line with his People First agenda,” the statement said.
