NYCN Yakurr chapter appoints 15 SAs to drive youth development

UGEP (CONVERSEER) – The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Yakurr Chapter announced the appointment of 15 Special Assistants tasked with strengthening administrative operations and accelerating youth‑focused initiatives across Yakurr Local Government Area.

The newly appointed special assistants, each bringing expertise to a specific portfolio, are:

1. Pastor Comrade Kepon Usani – Special Assistant on Religious Affairs

2. Comrade Dodeye Ngbodo – Special Assistant on Health Care Services

3. Comrade Wofai Samuel – Special Assistant on Computing and Digital Technology

4. Comrade Obol Obol Ebri – Chief Security Officer

5. Comrade Moses Ekat Akpama – Special Assistant on Creative Economy

6. Comrade Ofem Omori Etim – Special Assistant on Creative Media

7. Comrade Iwara Ebri – Special Assistant on Scrap Metal Regulations

8. Comrade Emmanuel Essien – Special Assistant on Persons with Disabilities (PWD)

9. Comrade Okoi Ubana Ubi – Special Assistant on Finance

10. Comrade Ikpi Ewa – Special Assistant on Peace and Security

11. Comrade Onun Okoi Obuli – Special Assistant on Environment

12. Comrade Ofem Fredrick Ikpi – Special Assistant on Technical Services

13. Comrade Robert Onun Igwe – Special Assistant on Agriculture

14. Comrade Theresa Livinus Esu – Special Assistant on Empowerment and Entrepreneurial Support

15. Comrade Ogoro Bassey – Special Assistant on Publicity

In a statement, the Chapter’s Coordinator, Comrade Ekpe Balimwor, expressed confidence that the appointees will “uphold integrity, professionalism and unwavering commitment to youth advancement.”

He urged all members and stakeholders to rally behind the new team as they embark on initiatives aimed at building a more prosperous and secure future for Yakurr’s youth.

The council congratulated the appointees and called on them to begin work immediately, emphasising that their contributions will be pivotal to the realisation of the NYCN’s mission.
