The event is set to run for five days, starting on Monday, 24th November, and concluding on Friday, 28th November 2025. Services will be available daily from 9 AM to 5 PM.
The initiative promises extensive medical care for attendees, featuring: general and specialised surgeries, full medical consultations and medications, ophthalmology services, dental care, laboratory testing, obstetrics & gynaecology services, health promotion and education, among others.
The free outreach will be held at the Calabar Women and Children Hospital, located at Murtala Mohammed Highway, Calabar.
The organising bodies have indicated that this exercise is part of a larger celebration, marking NDDC’s “25 Years of Making a Difference,” suggesting a significant milestone for the collaborating health and development partners, including RHI, ECEWS, and CSDON, alongside the support of the Cross River State health sector.
The representative of the state at the NDDC Board, Rt. Hon. Orok Duke PhD, encouraged residents of Calabar and surrounding communities to take advantage of the opportunity to receive free, quality healthcare services during the specified dates and times.
