CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – The Cross River State Police Command has found a missing child in Calabar, the state capital.

The child, a 6-year-old girl, was found loitering around Henshaw Town Secondary School in Calabar South, before being found by the police.

The police, through a statement by ASP Eitokpah Sunday, Police Public Relations Officer in the state, on Monday, are calling for the identification of the child so she can reunite with her family.

“The Cross River State Police Command seeks the public’s assistance in reuniting a 6-year-old female child found loitering around Henshaw Town Secondary School, Calabar South, on 25/01/2026, with her parents or relatives.

“Despite efforts, the child’s family has not been traced.

“Anyone with useful information should contact the nearest police station or call 08034209444 or PPRO: 07067977330.”
