TURIN (CONVERSEER) – Details have emerged regarding Juventus’ agreement with former Napoli and Italy national team manager, Luciano Spalletti, who is set to take charge of the Turin giants.

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Spalletti has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus to become the club’s new head coach. The deal will see him sign a contract until June 2026, with an option to extend depending on whether the club secures qualification for the UEFA Champions League this season.

According to Romano, the formal documents are currently being reviewed by legal teams, and both parties are expected to sign in the coming days.

This development follows Juventus’ decision to part ways with former manager Igor Tudor after an eight-match winless streak that saw the club’s performance dip significantly in Serie A.

Spalletti, 66, brings a wealth of experience to the Bianconeri, having managed top Italian sides such as AS Roma, Inter Milan, Napoli, Udinese, Empoli and Sampdoria. He notably led Napoli to a Serie A title in the 2022–23 season, ending the club’s 33-year wait for a league championship.

Most recently, Spalletti managed the Italy national men’s football team before being replaced by Gennaro Gattuso earlier this year. His appointment is expected to signal a new phase for Juventus as they aim to rebuild and reclaim dominance in Italian football.
