LONDON (CONVERSEER) – Welcome to the Emirates Stadium, the venue of the LIVE coverage of the match between Arsenal vs Crystal Palace, the final quarter-final game of the Carabao Cup, also known as the EFL Cup.

The winner of the fixture will face either Chelsea in the semi-final following the draw that was made five days ago.

The Gunners are in a good position to reach the last four, having achieved their hard-earned victory at Everton on Saturday evening. Mikel Arteta’s men will be eager to compete for another trophy in the EFL Cup this week.

Arsenal have a fine recent record against Palace, having avoided defeat in their last eight competitive meetings. In fact, the Gunners have lost to Palace only three times in any competition since October 1994.

Arteta may decide to give Gabriel Jesus his first start since returning from injury, while the likes of Eze, Madueke, and Martinelli will be eager to play. Young defender Joshua Nichols, who played against Bolton early in the tournament, may also be in the starting lineup.

After back-to-back EPL defeats and a frustrating draw in the Conference League, Palace need a positive result in the EFL Cup against Arsenal.

Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has been frustrated by the team’s recent schedule. The difficulty of playing in European competition while also playing in the Premier League is affecting the squad.

Their reserve team could only draw with Finnish minnows KuPS in the Conference League. Two days later, their first-choice XI were hammered 4-1 at Leeds. Palace have now conceded nine goals in their last three games. Facing an Arsenal team in excellent form is not what they need currently.
