PARIS (CONVERSEER) – Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau have officially gone public with their relationship, making their first joint appearance in Paris on Friday, 25 October.
The pair were photographed leaving the famed cabaret venue, Crazy Horse Paris, where they reportedly attended a private show to celebrate Perry’s 41st birthday. According to TMZ, the two appeared relaxed and affectionate, holding hands and smiling as they exited the venue. In photos obtained by Fox News Digital, Perry was seen glancing lovingly at Trudeau while the pair walked together.
Their latest outing follows months of speculation about a budding romance between the “Dark Horse” hitmaker and the Canadian politician. The duo were first spotted together in July dining at the upscale Montréal restaurant, Le Violon, an encounter that sparked rumours of a developing relationship.
At the time, a source told The Sun that Trudeau, who separated from his wife Sophie Grégoire in 2023, had been “single for a while” and found Perry “refreshing” to talk to. The source added that the two share a natural connection and enjoy “chatting about different topics,” describing their conversations as easy and engaging.
Perry, who recently ended her long-term relationship with British actor Orlando Bloom, also hinted at moving on during her concert at London’s O2 Arena earlier this month. Addressing her audience, she quipped, “No wonder I fall for Englishmen all the time… but not anymore,” seemingly referencing her new relationship with the Canadian leader.

The couple’s romance appears to be growing steadily. Earlier in October, they were spotted aboard Perry’s yacht, Caravelle, off the coast of Santa Barbara, sharing affectionate moments. In one frame captured by paparazzi, Trudeau was seen kissing Perry’s cheek while embracing her closely.
Despite the visible chemistry, sources close to both have described the relationship as “early but promising.” Speaking to People magazine in August, an insider said that while there is a clear attraction, both Perry and Trudeau are taking things slowly due to their personal commitments and parenting responsibilities.
“They are interested in each other, but it will take a while to see where this goes,” the source said. “She is travelling around the world, and he is figuring out his life now that he is no longer prime minister of Canada. They have a lot in common, but distance and timing will determine how far this relationship develops.”
For now, the couple’s Paris appearance marks a significant milestone — their first public confirmation that their connection extends beyond friendship.
