Karamo Brown refuses to show up on Queer Eye to avoid bullying

(CONVERSEER) – Karamo Brown refused to show for Queer Eye’s CBS Mornings Show with Auntie Gayle. He sent a message to the show, stating he could not be there in order to protect his mental health and “peace from people or a world seeking to destroy it.”

Presumably, those people seeking to destroy his mental health and peace would be none other than the other four members of Queer Eye. His messy assistant also stated that Karamo was worried about being bullied.

Previously, Karamo had followed three of his fellow cast members on social media: Tan France, Antoni Porowski, and Jonathan Van Ness.

Details about the drama behind the scenes are scarce at the moment, though perhaps we’ll see glimpses of it in the upcoming 10th and final season of the show. This is also not the first time we’ve heard of unrest between the “fab five.”

There have been rumours of JVN not being so nice to his castmates, and it was also rumoured that Bobby Berk left the show due to a feud with Tan France.

The four remaining castmates, including Bobby’s replacement, seemed to present a united front during this morning’s interview, each holding hands in pairs. Interesting!

He also skipped the Today Show appearance, sending along this video to the show explaining why along with a note from his assistant explaining that “Karamo has felt mentally and emotionally abused for years.”
