Governor Otu appoints 24 into State Road Fund and Rural Access Road Authority

CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, has approved the appointment of 12 distinguished professionals into the boards and management teams of the State Road Fund and the Rural Access Road Authority.

According to a statement by Mr Linus Obogo, Chief Press Secretary/Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, on Wednesday (19th November), 12 were appointed into the State Road Fund while the other 12 were appointed into the Rural Access Road Authority.

The statement noted that, “Governor Otu’s action fulfils key conditions precedent for Cross River State’s participation in the World Bank RAAMP Scale-Up Project.

“These appointments, drawn from critical sectors including engineering, agriculture, finance, transport, civil society, and traditional institutions, further demonstrate the Governor’s commitment to strengthening institutional capacity for transformative rural infrastructure delivery and enhanced agricultural market access across the state.”
