LOKOJA (CONVERSEER) – Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo has distributed over 500 wheelchairs and other mobility aids to people living with physical challenges in the State.
This was at a ceremony held at Muhammadu Buhari Square in Lokoja, where he also presented a vehicle to the Secretary of Persons with Physical Challenges in Kogi State.
This is coming from the Ohunene foundation, an initiative of the wife of the Governor Sefinat Ododo.
The gesture has received commendation from Nigerians who believe more should be done for Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs).
