ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – The Department of State Services (DSS) on Thursday in Abuja arraigned a social media user, Innocent Chukwuemeka, who used his “X” handle to canvass for a coup in Nigeria.

Chukwuemeka was slammed with a six-count charge bordering on false publication to cause public alarm and cyber stalking by a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja.

Following his not guilty plea, the court also fixed the 26th of January 2026 for the hearing, whilst ordering that he be remanded in the custody of the DSS.

The matter was presided over by Justice Joyce Obehi Abdulmalik.

Also arraigned by the DSS was Abdulmalik Abdulazeez Obadaki, suspected mastermind of the 2012 attack on Deeper Life Bible Church, Okene, Kogi State.
