CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – Former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke and his wife, Onari, on Thursday, gave out their daughter, Donna’s hand in marriage.
Converseer reports that Donna married Tobe, the son of popular Lagos pastor, Tony Rapu of House of Freedom.

The wedding, which took place on 22 January 2026, was held at the Duke’s residence in Calabar, Cross River State capital.
Rapu is of the Umueze Dynasty, Asaba, Delta State.
The marriage was between the Efik heritage and the pride of Asaba, both in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria.
Donna is the third daughter of Duke to marry in the last eight years, after Xerona and Nella, who married Derin Phillips, also known as DJ Caise and Sen. Asuquo Ekpenyong, respectively.

The wedding had in attendance the Obong of Calabar and Natural Ruler of the Efik Kingdom, His Eminence Edidem Ekpo Okon Abasi Otu V; Rt. Hon. Orok Duke, PhD, Commissioner Representing Cross River State at the NDDC board; Sen. Asuquo Ekpenyong, Senator Representing Cross River Southern Senatorial District, among others.
