CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – The Cross River State Football Association (CRSFA) has published the schedule for the second round of the 2025 CRS Governor’s Cup, with all matches set for Tuesday, 25th November 2025 and the quarter‑finals slated for Thursday, 27th November 2025.
In a separate disciplinary action, the CRSFA Disciplinary Committee fined three local‑government teams ₦500,000 each for abandoning their fixtures and leaving their designated match centres.
The penalised clubs are:
1. Obubra United – Obubra LGA
2. ABIWAVES FC – Abi LGA
3. Akpabuyo United – Akpabuyo LGA
Each fine must be settled within 30 days, or the clubs risk further sanctions, including suspension from future competitions.

“The decision underscores our commitment to uphold the integrity of the Sweet Prince Cup,” said the CRSFA chairman. “All participating teams are expected to honour their commitments.”
The association wishes the remaining teams success in the second round and looks forward to an exciting quarter‑final stage.
