Court scraps 33 Local Council Development Areas in Ondo

33 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs) created by late Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu have been scrapped.

The 33 LCDAs were scrapped on Thursday by an Ondo State High Court sitting in Akure.

The court declared the creation as unconstitutional and illegal.

According to the presiding Judge, Justice A.O Adebusuoye, the LCDAs were not lawfully created.
