KANO (CONVERSEER) – Kano State Commissioner for Investment, Commerce, Industry, and Cooperatives, Shehu Wada Sagagi, has reportedly donated bicycles to junior staff in the Ministry to cushion the effect of rising transportation costs.
Converseer learned that Sagagi personally funded the bicycles for low-level staff struggling with fuel costs of over N700 per litre.
At the handover, he urged recipients to rededicate themselves to their duties, while a ministry director praised the boost to morale and punctuality.
Sagagi has promised 10 more soon.
The empowerment has been met with different reactions online.

While supporters hailed the practical help for short trips in traffic-heavy Kano, critics mocked the basic bikes as unfit for professionals and a sign of low leadership standards.
