BAKASSI (CONVERSEER) – A People Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholder in Cross River State, Austine Ibok, has resigned from the party with immediate effect.
Converseer learned that Ibok’s resignation from the PDP followed a rumoured move to the African Democratic Congress (ADC), after calling himself an “ADC Coalition Hopeful” in one of his social media posts last week.
His resignation from the PDP was contained in a letter signed by him and dated 26th January 2026.
The letter which was obtained by Converseer on Sunday, was addressed to the Chairman of PDP, Antai Emma Ward 7, Bakassi LGA, Cross River State.
“I hereby resign my membership from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) with immediate effect.
“I appreciate the opportunity and support given to me during my time in the party. Thank you,” the letter read.
