RABAT (CONVERSEER) – The Super Eagles of Nigeria head coach, Eric Chelle, has addressed the outburst between Victor Osimhen and his teammates in Fes, Morocco, on Monday.
Osimhen went straight down the tunnel, angry, and refused to celebrate with teammates after their 4-0 victory over Mozambique in the 2025 AFCON.
Ademola Lookman had stopped Osimhen while he was confronting left back Bruno Onyemachi after he failed to pass while on a hat-trick.
Osimhen, in return, flared up, shouting at captain Wilfried Ndidi, Calvin Bassey and other teammates.
Osimhen went straight to Lookman, pointing at him while muttering some hatchet words when the game was 3-0.

Fielding questions from the press, he said, ”What happened on the pitch will stay in the group. I don’t need to tell you what will happen. I keep that to myself.”
