CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – Activists under the umbrella of RevolutionNow have elected new executives in Cross River State to champion a better Nigeria and a free civic space engagement.
The congress, which held on Saturday under the supervision of the Centre Planning Committee (CPC), was chaired by Engr. Segun Damilare, elected seven executives to pilot the affairs of the movement in the state.
The exercise recorded full representation from all the Local Government Areas of the state. Of the 18 accredited delegates, 14 were present and participated in the voting.
Below are the new executives of the RevolutionNow Movement in Cross River State
1. Benedict Atu – State Chairman
2. Jonathan Ugbal – Secretary
3. David Agbe – Deputy Chairman, North
4. Victor Otu – Deputy Chairman, Central
5. Etie Itu Bako – State Legal Adviser
6. Patricia Amadu – Treasurer
7. Oto-Obong Clement – Youth Leader
In his acceptance speech, the newly elected Chairman, Benedict Atu, expressed deep gratitude to the delegates for their confidence in his leadership. He pledged to work diligently to advance the vision and ideals of the movement while fostering unity and accountability among members.

The CPC Chairman, Engr. Segun Damilare, in his remarks, commended delegates for their discipline and orderly conduct throughout the congress.
A major highlight of the congress was the election of Patricia Amadu as Treasurer, which the CPC described as a significant step toward promoting women’s inclusion in leadership. The congress concluded with a renewed sense of unity and purpose as members reaffirmed.
