Accra (Converseer) – A Ghanaian man based in Spain has has been shown pepper by a so-called lady he met online.
Identified as Kofi Alhassan Kofi Alhassan, the man said he met a woman on Facebook, and what began as friendship later developed into a romantic relationshipromantic relationship.
“I met her on Facebook and we became close. With time, the friendship turned into a relationship,” he said on Oyerepa.
According to him, the woman told him she was unemployed, prompting him to support her financially.
He said he bought seven plots of land in Kintampo to help her start a tomato farming business.
“She said she had no job, so I decided to help her by buying land for tomato farming,” Kofi stated.
He explained that after years of maintaining the long-distance relationship, he travelled to Ghana to meet her, only to be met with repeated excuses.
“When I came to Kintampo, every time I tried to meet her, she gave one excuse after another,” he said.
However, it emerged that the photo the woman had been using online did not belong to her.
“It was then I realised the person in the picture was not the same woman I had been speaking to,” he added.
