MAIDUGURI (CONVERSEER) – Borno State Governor, Babagana Umara Zulum, has, on his return from the Lesser Hajj, paid a sympathy visit to victims of the recent Maiduguri bomb blasts.

The Governor commended the Federal Government for its swift response, including the release of funds for clearance operations around the fringes of Lake Chad and other affected areas, as well as the directive for Service Chiefs to relocate to Maiduguri to strengthen ongoing security efforts.

He assured residents of the government’s continued support for victims and families of those who lost their lives, while reaffirming the commitment of security agencies to bringing a lasting end to insurgency in the state and the wider North-East region.
