BERLIN (CONVERSEER) – A new night train connecting Paris and Berlin sets off on its inaugural journey next week, as Dutch-Belgian provider European Sleeper continues to expand its network across the continent.

Travel time adds up to a staggering 16.5 hours due to detours via Hamburg and Brussels, but that will hardly deter any true night train fans.

The most economical fare is a seat-only option, likely only appealing to the very brave or broke, while tickets for a shared sleeping compartment start at €79.99.

Women-only compartments are also available, and a “good breakfast” will be served 45 minutes prior to arrival.

The Berlin-Paris European Sleeper departs on its inaugural journey on Thursday.
