ABUJA (CONVERSEER) – The African Democratic Congress, ADC, has released the timetable for its nationwide congresses ahead of the party’s national convention.
In a statement jointly signed by its National Organising Secretary, Chinedu Idigo, and the National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, ADC states that polling unit and ward congresses are scheduled for April 7, 2026, while local government congress is scheduled for April 9 whereas state congress is fixed for April 11.
The process will culminate in the party’s National Convention slated for April 14, 2026.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had fixed January and February 2027 as the dates for the 2027 general elections.
