KANO (CONVERSEER) – Voting is ongoing in parts of Kano State as the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) conducts the State Assembly by-election.
The exercise is taking place in the Kano Municipal and Ungogo Constituencies to fill two vacant seats in the Kano State House of Assembly, following the death of the former lawmakers.
Although turnout remains low as of this morning, the process is peaceful, with election officials and security personnel maintaining order across polling units, NTA reports.
