Baidu Qianfan launches AI coding subscription service

By Our Reporter

BEIJING (CONVERSEER) – Baidu Qianfan announced the launch of its AI coding subscription service, Coding Plan, covering the entire process of code writing, understanding, and optimisation.

According to the announcement, starting today, the service officially integrates several mainstream code generation and understanding models, including GLM-4.7 and DeepSeek-V3.2, and allows developers to switch freely with one click in the console without modifying local configurations. It is also compatible with a variety of AI programming tools.

According to reports, Baidu Qianfan Coding Plan adopts a standardised interface design, directly compatible with mainstream AI programming tools such as Claude Code and Cursor that conform to the OpenAI and Anthropic protocols, achieving “out-of-the-box usability” and reducing development environment adaptation costs. In terms of resource guarantees, the service provides ample call limits to prevent developers from being affected by limit restrictions on their programming progress.

Baidu Qianfan is launching a special trial plan: new users can enjoy all the features of the Lite version for 9.9 yuan for the first month, including a maximum of 18,000 requests. For developers with more frequent needs, the Pro version provides support for up to 90,000 requests per month.
