JOHANNESBURG (CONVERSEER) – Armindo Pacula, the alleged gunman in the murder of popular DJ Warrick “DJ Warras” Stock, is returning to court this morning as investigations continue.
The case was previously postponed to allow the State to verify Pacula’s address and his legal status in South Africa.
The 25-year-old faces charges of conspiracy to commit murder, murder, and contravening the Immigration Act. He was arrested at the Marathon informal settlement in Primrose, west of Johannesburg.
Pacula has opted for legal aid and indicated his intention to apply for bail. According to information before the court, the alleged hit was worth R25,000, with Pacula reportedly receiving R7,000.
Although Pacula previously appeared in court without dreadlocks, police say dreadlocks were found at the shack where he was arrested, along with a bag allegedly used to conceal the firearm.
The weapon linked to the murder has not yet been recovered.
