WASHINGTON (CONVERSEER) – Firefighters on Saturday rescued a trapped deer on a frozen lake in Stevens County, Washington.
One of the firefighters, Gavyn Gallagher, was seen wrapping himself around the deer while others pulled them in with a rope.
“District 1 crews were able to save a deer off of Loon Lake this morning. Teamwork included Fish and Wildlife officers along with local residents,” the Stevens County Fire Department said in a statement.
The deer was later released.
