LAGOS (CONVERSEER) – Nollywood actress and philanthropist, Tonto Dikeh, has announced her reconciliation with her former husband, Olakunle ‘Churchill’ Oladunni, after nearly a decade of public conflict and separation.

According to The Whistler, the actress announced in a lengthy post shared on her Instagram page, where she described the reconciliation as a divine intervention that brought peace after years of bitterness, broken communication, and legal disputes.

According to Dikeh, the renewed relationship was not achieved through human effort but through faith, humility, and sustained prayers. She said peace had replaced anger, while respect and understanding had been restored between both parties.

“After ten long years of public battles, deep wounds, broken communication, bitterness and pain, God stepped in,” she wrote, adding that what appeared impossible had been healed by mercy.

Dikeh explained that the reconciliation was driven largely by spiritual transformation and love for their child, noting that the process involved forgiveness and obedience to God. She expressed gratitude to Churchill for choosing peace and yielding to what she described as God’s word.

The actress also used the opportunity to encourage individuals facing similar personal challenges not to lose hope, insisting that difficult situations could still be redeemed through patience, prayer, and faith.

“To anyone standing where I once stood, tired, wounded, and misunderstood, your story is not over,” she wrote.

She further prayed that the restored relationship would remain founded on grace, mercy, and divine protection, describing it as a testimony of God’s unfailing love. Dikeh referred to the reconciliation as “10 years in one day,” calling it a miracle.

Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill were married in 2015, but their marriage collapsed less than two years later amid intense public controversy, legal battles, and counter-allegations. The former couple shares a son, King Andre Churchill, whose custody and welfare had been the subject of prolonged dispute.

The reconciliation marks a significant turnaround in one of Nigeria’s most widely followed celebrity separations.
