UGEP (CONVERSEER) – The Obol Lopon of Ugep and Paramount Ruler of Yakurr LGA, Obol Ofem Ubana, received stakeholders of Umor Otutu who reported on a stakeholders meeting held on December 30, 2025, at Womi’s Hotel Ekoli.
Senior Comrade Ofem Okoi, NYCN Organising Secretary Central, lifted the suspension ban on Comrade Elder Sunday Ottoh, reinstating him as Chairman of Ugep NYCN.
The Obol Lopon thanked stakeholders, commended Comrade Omini Ettah’s leadership, and promised to support genuine leaders and peace efforts in Yakurr.
He blessed the entourage and affirmed the report after speaking with the state Chairman.
A notification of reinstatement signed by Okoi and obtained by Converseer, stated, “I refer to the management committee meeting convened on the 30th of December 2025 on the appeal forwarded to the zone for review by you.

“I write to notify you, comrade Sunday Ottoh, of the decision to reinstate you as directed.
“By this notice, you are requested to resume operation within the ambit of the NYCN constitution as stipulated.
“Having consulted with relevant stakeholders across the zone, the Grand Patron, His Royal Majesty, The Paramount Ruler of Yakurr, gives his blessings.
“Please do accept the assurances of our highest regards. Congratulations.”
The letter was copied to the State Chairman of NYCN, C.R.S., Obol Lopon & Paramount Ruler of Yakurr, the Supervisor for Youth & Sports, the S.A. Youth Mobilisation, and the Divisional Police Officer of Yakurr.
