MAIDUGURI (CONVERSEER) – The Nigeria Police Force has confirmed that five people were killed after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) exploded inside the Gamboru Jumu’at mosque in Maiduguri, Borno State capital.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) in the state, DSP Nahum Daso, also disclosed that 35 people were injured during the explosion.
