ABAKALIKI (CONVERSEER) – The Nigeria Police Community in Ebonyi State has been thrown into mourning following the sudden death of an Assistant Commissioner of Police, ACP Ogbon-Inu Taiwo Popoola.
The deceased, an officer in charge of the State Intelligence Department (SID), reportedly slumped during a management meeting at the Command Headquarters, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, around 11 o’clock in the morning
According to a police source, ACP Popoola suddenly developed breathing difficulties and began gasping for breath during the meeting, prompting him to be rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

Confirming the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, DSP Joshua Ukandu, said Popoola had a crisis during a meeting and was rushed to the hospital, but unfortunately, could not survive it.
Meanwhile, his remains have been deposited at the morgue of Alex Ekwueme Federal University Teaching Hospital (AE-FUTHA 1) in Abakaliki.
