University of Maiduguri holds 25th combined convocation

MAIDUGURI (CONVERSEER) – University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has held its 25th combined convocation ceremony, awarding degrees and diplomas to 20,164 graduates, including 66 PhDs and 205 First Class honours graduates.

The ceremony was attended by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, represented by the Minister of State for Education, Professor Suwaiba Ahmad.

The graduating categories comprise 66 PhDs, 1,020 Master’s degree holders, 3,851 Postgraduate Diplomas (PGDs), 13,624 Bachelor’s Degree graduates, and 1,603 diploma recipients.

Among the bachelor’s degree graduates, 205 earned First Class honours, 3,114 obtained Second Class Upper Division and 9,501 finished with Second Class Lower Division.
