KATSINA (CONVERSEER) – A viral video revealing a dramatic plot twist in Katsina State, Nigeria, is currently trending on the X platform.
In the video, a man explains that a group of bandits kidnapped several villagers and demanded a staggering ₦100 million ransom per person.
In a bold counter move, the villagers, who are familiar with the abductors, kidnapped the bandits’ family members and held them hostage too.
When the bandits demanded payment, the villagers told them: “Your families are with us. Harm our people, and we’ll do the same to yours.”

After three tense days, the bandits backed down, releasing all the victims unharmed and even gave each of them ₦30,000 as transport fare
This video has sparked laughter and admiration online for the bravery of the villagers, proving that sometimes the best defence is a fearless offence.
