CALABAR (CONVERSEER) – The immediate past chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Comrade Anthony Bissong Attah, has resigned as the Chairman of Young Progressives Party (YPP) in Cross River State.
Attah disclosed his resignation from the YPP and as Chairman of the party in an exclusive interview with Converseer on Saturday.
He thanked the party for all the opportunities given to him in the last couple of years, noting that his decision to leave the party was sacrosanct as he needed a new chapter in his political career.
“I have officially tendered my resignation from the Young Progressives Party, YPP, and as Chairman of the party.
“My resignation is not borne from malice but to chart a new political chapter. I thank the party for the opportunities it has given me, especially in 2019. I am forever grateful,” Attah said.

The former Senatorial candidate said he will be disclosing his next political affiliation on a date to be announced soon.

Converseer reports that Attah was the Cross River Central Senatorial District YPP candidate for the 2019 general election.
He is the past IPAC chairman in the state and a political voice in the November 2024 Local Government election.
With a coalition, ADC, at the corner and the ruling APC lobbying every juggernaut, where would he go?
